In order to ensure the winners live up to the name, we separate the organizing committee and selection committee whereby the organizing committee is in charge of organizing and makes the event to be successful. The organizing committee is led by YBhg. Datuk Abang Sallehuddin Abg. Shokeran, the former Director General of Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka, Ministry of Education.

 

The selection committee is in charge of selecting deserved winners. The selection committee is led by YBhg. Kolonel Bersekutu (PA) Dato' Lee Chee Weng, a prominent business consultant and funding specialist. In order to ensure our winners are clean from criminal record and adverse remarks, we work together with the most authoritative working partners in Malaysia and an established credit rating agency in the assessment of nomination. The transparency of assessment is closely monitored by the exclusive independent auditor, the leading global audit firm - ECOVIS.
 

Selection of winners will be judged on 2 dimensions: quantitative and qualitative as well as the following 5 aspects:
[1] Creditworthiness / Integrity
[2] Financial strength
[3] Business growth
[4] Positive impact to society
[5] Others.
 

All winners must go through at least 2 stages of audit.
 

1st Audit 

• The company/director is not involved in any legal proceedings, including criminal cases or commercial litigation, and has no record on convictions.

• No unauthorised use of honorific titles, such as fake Datukships & fake doctorate, is permitted.

2nd Audit

• Free clinical session with various professionals to assist nominees:

  • Identifying bottlenecks​

  • Unblocking bottlenecks

  • Creating phenomenal growth

3rd Audit

If there is any rectification jobs during the 2nd audit.

We have adopted the assessment criteria of various Entrepreneurship Development Agencies into LICTA selection criteria. Thus, the certification will act as a "Green Lane" to obtain SME Government Grant and Soft Loan.
